About AZALEH:
AZALEH was born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 13th as her parents were traveling. 9:29 was the time she came into the world with many blessings to give to all. Once she arrived she was named Teri Patrece.

Being a mixture of culture which consist of Asian,Dominican,Jamaican and Cherokee Indian she has embraced all of her creation. Her life was always filled with a variety of culture and many musical influences which her parents embraced.

Azaleh grew up in New York City and marinated on all of the things in her environment that she wanted to make better or enlighten others by just being and staying true to herself. Being a voice was not enough, she had to represent for Harlem and be a positive influence within her community.

The world is so blessed and fortunate to have her as a gift. Many describe her as "One Of Many, One Of The Last" or "The Royal Lioness" Azaleh became interested in a career in the music industry, by being exposed to the recording studio by one of her current producers and by working as the Receptionist at SIR Studios in New York City.

Azaleh has been blessed with many opportunities to meet and work with some of her favorite artists in the studio but this was just the beginning of the door opening to a world of constant and continuous creation. It wasn't just the music that opened this door of creativity it was the power of the lyrics that would seduce her. She has always had a passion for music but what was the foundation that enhanced her craft was how the lyrics in a song can send a message and touch the soul simultaneously.

Azaleh began writing many lyrics that educate you with a positive message that enlightens and everyone can relate to by the perception of life's lessons. Music and writing lyrics became part of her daily life that she could not function without. Her lyrics became her addiction and her outlet. Azaleh began persuing a music career in 1994. She started performing at open mics and showcases as “ Nubian Queen” which she changed to Azaleh.

The definition of "AZALEH" is a "STAR" in the constellation of Orion. In 2000 she became a member of BMI Music. Azaleh has accumulated a book of copyrighted songs titled Azaleh’s Compilations. In the music you get a dose of positivity no matter what lesson is learned. Azaleh is very dedicated, humble and passionate about her path. She is a new voice, new look and vibe in the world of entertainment that comes with unique writer skills with incredible depth.

Azaleh does display her LIONESS when she is on stage. This is a new style that the music industry has to embrace. As an artist she has created a new flavor and style that is described as the sexy ruff rebel with a seductive side that her fans call "RASTAFARASIAN" which consists of Jamaican rhythms, sexy strings and hip hop beats. Azaleh comes with thousands of thoughts from a woman’s side of game. She is a rising star ready to live out the definition of her name "Azaleh". She is willing to take on the opportunity for her concepts to have life through her creative vision.

Azaleh has been on stage with many greats from Diana Ross to her mentor Prince. Azaleh was nominated by The Black Music Awards in Las Vegas, Nevada for lyricist of the year in 2008. Azaleh's sound is ready for the world. The single “Where You Going?, is a creation of dance hall and hip-hop with Azaleh’s flavor. Music is not the only door that she wants to walk through. Azaleh wrote a series that she wants to go into film. She is a natural beauty and the camera falls in love when she is in the frame. She can work out the fashion runway too.
