Jabukem Music Group is a music production label, founded in early 2008 by Alexander Martin-Blanken and his wife Christine Martin-Blanken.
'Alex' as he is affectionately called, is kept busy as a full-time keyboardist and recording artiste. Alex's talent was evident at a very early age and started formal study at the age six with Paulette Bellamy.

He later 'sat at the feet of Jon Williams' and has blossomed into an exceptional musician who has mastered many genres of music and has delighted local and overseas audiences. He has toured extensively with Father Ho-Lung and Friends and also performed locally and overseas as a member of of the group 'Touch of Elegance' and also recently performed with Victoria Livengood who is an acclaimed messo soprano, who is a well known singer.

Added to his God-given talent is his composed and amiable temperament which endeares him to the musical fraternity. He continues to be a valuable asset to popular recording artistes with his varied interpretations of Gospel, R&B, Pop, Jazz, Reggae and Dancehall. He is a session musician and has played music with the likes of Jon Williams, Benjy Myaz, Courtney Fadlin, Andre Campbell, Othneil Lewis, Harold Davis, Glen Browne, Michael Kennedy, Wendell Lawrence and many others. On the production scene, Alex has produced for a number of artistes which include, Christine Fisher, Shelly Ann Watson, Kevin Downswell, Kimbilee Bent, Purpose, Ruption, Yeshemabeth McGregor, Judy Mowatt, Arvind Graham and Glacia Robinson.

He also has co-produced music with Benjy Myaz, Mario 'Mad Scientist' Lawrence, Stephen 'Di Genious' McGregor, Computer Paul Henton, DWC Productions, Exclusive Sound, Paul Barclay, Danny Browne, Sly Dunbar, Don McDowell and many others. Alex has also accompanied a wide-cross section of artistes which include Christine Fisher, Benjy Myaz, Harold Davis,Freddie McGregor, Touch of Elegance, Jon Williams, Ron Kenoly, Courtney Fadlin,Ebony,Angel Shalome,Katrina Harlin, Allison,ROOTZ UNDERGROUND, Karen Smith,JUDY EMANUEL,Mary Isaacs, Pam Hall, Dr. Ernnie Ranglin, Nadine Sutherland, Althea Hewitt(of Fourth Street Sister's), Stella Lewis, Diamar and many others.

Alex is also one of the resident in house Producer's for Almond Productions which is owned and operated by Maestro Jon Williams (the best musician in the World!!) Alex is marrried to the love of his life Christine, and have two children, Asim and Kemba.
