Empress Lady B Bless

One last look at our Female Artist of the Month (January) CatEyes

CatEyes was born Rochelle Marie Farquharson in Forth Riley Kansas, she was inspired by her dad who loved all area of music and opened her eyes and ears to the music world, She enjoy writing and expressing herself through music.

CatEyes has a unique style with an interesting reggae and R&B manner, that separates her from the typical one hit wonders in the music world. Her music mirrors the inner whims and fantasies of most men, from any age group. She started her singing career at the age of 14.

Cateyes is determined to reach everyone through her musical presence. She stands out as a young visionary who leaves her listeners feeling hypnotized. Her music, lyrics, and sound bring a new dimension and crossover appeal, from reggae and dancehall.

CatEyes as well as her record company, Madstorm Production would like to change the "happy-go-lucky" mindset and attitudes associated with the unorganized noise that is being unleashed on our youths as music. "My music is intended to inspire everyone who comes in contact with it. If my songs impact my brothers and sisters towards a new consciousness, enlistment and righteous practices, then I would consider my music relevant to times. Trust me; I am aware of the challenges, the high levels of expectations and the competitive nature of the music business in Jamaica and the world for that matter. I am being practical when I say that my music has global appeal, there is nothing parochial about it, except that it's authentically Jamaica with a crossover appeal.

CatEyes is now being featured on all video and TV in Jamaica, like Hype TV, RE TV. etc just to name a few. English Pound tv will be featuring "How he got me" music video" in May in Canada and the UK, Boston Ma, BNN TV Roots to Riddym and strictly hip hop as the video in rotation.

CatEyes as been performing in Jamaica on a number of shows like: "Magnum Fallow The Arrow" and "Taboo Spring break in Negril, Jamaica". It's fare to say that CatEyes as been and continue to perform with most off Jamaica's heavy weight artist's like: Junior Reid, Sizzla and Beenie man, Little Hero etc.
